The Vitelotte potatoes hail from South America, exactly from the portion of territory between Peru and Chile. As well as in South America, the type vitelotte is now widely cultivated in France, especially in the area of Picardie. Potatoes are ancient and not genetically modified, used in cooking, especially to giving dishes a special effect thanks to their distinctive purple color.
The black truffle, scientific name (Tuber Melanosporum Vitt.), also known as truffles from Norcia or Spoleto or truffle du Perigord is probably the most famous in the international kitchen.
